Executive summary
Training is becoming increasingly important to software companies, both
as a source of professional services revenue and as a call-deflection
tool. In turn, the growing importance of training has brought new
attention to the question of "market-level" training salaries. This ASP
report draws on survey data from 54 participating companies to define
salary benchmarks for instructor/trainers and content developers, and
also offers feedback on key "success factors" that deserve attention in
the recruiting process.
