Virtual User Group Meetings?
"We have a very successful annual user group meeting, but we're
concerned that the economy will put a squeeze on travel budgets
this year. Has anyone tried to run a virtual user group event
using video conferencing tools?"

Ollie—
We have a nationwide user base, and so run many virtual user
groups based around user types, sections of our application,
or topics of interest. We also run local (statewide) user
groups, generally on a virtual basis.
We use web conferencing for this (GotoMeeting). These have
been very well received by our users who keep asking for more!
